King David Tower – Miami Beach, FL
The management team of the King David Tower Building contacted PSI to assist with their roofing needs in the quest of a full commercial roof replacement of their sloped roof (removing its original roof clay tiles). The challenge was performing such a difficult project in the heart of Miami Beach with no staging areas and very little room for parking and equipment and materials storage on site. On top of that, one more important detail, the work was to be performed 240 feet off the ground.
PSI’s operations team established the plan of action and incorporated an elevator system for loading and unloading of materials along with scaffolding and elevated platforms over the flat roof areas to provide full access and all the safety measurements to execute the project. Such complex logistics were overcome by the expertise of our management team along with quality work of skilled roofers changing the looks of such iconic building. PSI installed this new aluminum standing seam roof at an elevation of 24 stories and in the process our team enjoyed some of the best views of sunny Miami Beach. King David’s management is very pleased with the outcome of this commercial roof replacement project and has become another source of referrals for future clients.
